MCDONALD'S is shaking up its menu within days as it celebrates its 50th year in the UK.
The home of the Big Mac is launching a limited edition birthday-themed range to mark five decades since opening its first UK branch.
Fast food fans will be able to get their hands on three new puddings and a side as well as three returning burgers.
The new and returning items will be hitting restaurants across the UK on July 17.
Among the range is the new Birthday Cake Donut, combining strawberry filling and buttercream-flavoured icing.
Two new McFlurrys are making their way to menus too - Milkybar Raspberry Ripple and Munchies Cookie Dough.

McDonald's is also launching new Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers, bound to be a hit with any fans of the classic Italian side.
Three burgers that have already been seen on menus will be making a comeback on July 17 too.
The McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, Double Big Mac and Double Big Mac with Bacon will all be landing in branches.
The new Birthday Cake Donut combines strawberry-flavoured filling, topped with buttercream-flavoured icing and sprinkles.

It will cost £1.99 with 20p from each sale donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities UK.
The sweet treat has been launched to mark the charity's 35-year anniversary.

Meanwhile, the Milkybar Raspberry Ripple McFlurry features soft dairy ice cream swirled with mini Milkybar chocolate drops, all topped off with raspberry sauce.
McDonald's customers will be able to get their hands on it for £2.19.
Meanwhile, a mini version will set you back just £1.59.
The Munchies Cookie Dough McFlurry, which includes biscuit pieces and caramel cookie dough sauce, will also be priced at £2.19.
History of McDonald's in the UK
HERE'S a brief history of McDonald's in the UK...
1974 - its first UK restaurant opens in Woolwich, London, in October. It also opens its head office in Hampstead, North London.
1982 - breakfast options are first added to menus. Its head office is moved to East Finchley, North London.
1983 - McDonald's opens its 100th restaurant across the UK, pulling up the shutters on the restaurant in Market Street, Manchester.
1986 - Happy Meals are added to menus for the first time, while its 200th branch opens in Ipswich, Suffolk.
1991 - McDonald's opens its first restaurant in Northern Ireland, in Belfast.
1995 - the fast food chain becomes the official restaurant of the FA Premier League.
2000 - McDonald's launches its website - www.mcdonalds.co.uk. In the same year, the first ever McFlurry is launched in branches.
2003 - the chain adds Fruit Bags to menus.
2011 - McDonald's starts printing nutritional information on packaging and menu boards.
2017 - trials of McDelivery are launched in April 2017, as the business rolls out its click-and-collect app.
Returning to the menu is the iconic Double Big Mac andDouble Big Mac with Bacon.
They will feature four beef patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, onion, and pickles and Big Mac sauce.
The Double Big Mac will cost £5.39 for a single and £7.19 for a meal.
To get the burger with bacon, customers will have to pay £6.19 for a single or £8.09 for a meal.
Elsewhere, the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse is returning for the first time since October 2023.
The burger is made up of chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating with a smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion, lettuce, all in a sourdough style sesame topped bun.
Burger fans can get the burger on its own for £5.59 or £7.49 as part of a meal.
The new Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers are made of mozzarella and flavoured with garlic and chives in a ciabatta-style breadcrumb coating, served with rich tomato dip.
Cheese lovers can get a pack of four for £2.39 or a sharebox for £6.49.
If you want to try these additions then don't hang around because they will only be on menus for six weeks.
After launching earlier this year, McDonald's has confirmed that its Chicken Shareboxwill be staying on the menu.
The £10.59 boxes includes six Chicken Selects, twelve Chicken McNuggets, two McNuggets dips and two Selects dips.
Thenine Chicken Selects Sharebox with three Selects Dipswill also be remaining on the menu for £8.49.
