I have been here several times now and it is always delicious. The pizzas have my favorite crust and tomato sauce in the area (maybe anywhere?) All around the drinks, the food, and the atmosphere are great. (Pictures are from a special, ticketed event and may not reflect what’s currently on the menu)

Je recommande fortement à tout le monde d'essayer ce restaurant.(Avis d'origine)We are in town visiting family and opted to try Quanto Basta. Our server, Lynette, was exceptional, both with service and recommendations. I had the Shrimp Scampi Risotto, and my wife had the Chicken Picata. Both dishes were delectable and well presented. The atmosphere is relaxing, and it is easy to carry on a conservation.I highly recommend everyone to try this restaurant.

Been to a lot of Italian restaurants and this one is definitely one of the top ones for quality, taste and ambiance! We ordered the charcuterie board, Caesar salad, sausage & mussels pasta and all of them were to die for!! Absolutely delicious!! Can’t wait to return!

Russo’s Chocolate Bar was my choice for an after dinner drink. While I didn’t have dinner here this particular night the service was great and the bar at the time was quiet. It was a Saturday evening and with ACC basketball the focus and no televisions there was no crowd. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant and what I’ve had on the menu in the past have been great. I’ll certainly be back again.

A few friends recommended this restaurant to us. We ordered take out. Veal Saltimbocca and Shrimp Scampi Risotto tasted really good, nothing like you would have in the other restaurants here in Winston. However, be aware, this is more of a traditional Italian restaurant, ie, small quantity per course (primi and secondi). If you are expecting an American-Italian style here, you would be at the wrong place. Also, there is a packaging fee for take out. Overall this is a nice but pricer restaurant.

I tried a few things from the menu and the wait was not long at all. Once the food arrived I was excited because it all looked GREAT....I tasted it and was almost immediately disappointed. The more the I ate the more disappointed I got. I thought maybe I was coming down with a cold or something that threw my taste buds off but I was indeed fine it was the un-barely-seasoned food. I was really hoping this place would knock it out the park but it left me desiring more. It's not all bad though, the pizza was good and I would recommend for sure.

I often come to this restaurant.I called as a result of receiving a salad that looked like this and the manager seemed very hasty in listening ear to my complaint. I was interrupted several times and was told she’s doing her best to help me.My daughter overheard and was laughing saying “could you just get to the point”😂She also tried to imply the salad didn’t look like this before I came home. I order the same salad every week sometimes daily for the last year. Then I take it home to eat the salad. Nothing happened other than someone didn’t care and gave me a disgusting salad to go.And to imply that something happened on the way home is very belittling and irresponsible from management. This changed my entire impression of this place. You would expect a classy restaurant to know how to listen to complaints. You should not interrupt a regular customer when they’re trying to explain their experience and say you’re doing your best and you don’t know what else they expect. That’s hospitality 101.I expect courtesy, a refund and common sense to look at material before you hand it over to a customer.I certainly don’t expect to be interrupted when I’m trying to explain my situation.

This is our favorite restaurant in Winston. We love the short ribs and daily specials. The Giardino pizza is delicious. We get it without the peppers & eggplant. Perfect crust. To finish off your evening be sure to try the “Olive Oil” cake. It has hints of orange and comes with ice cream. Delightful! Tracy and Misty are great servers. We enjoy chatting with them. It is a fun place to come before a Winston Salem Dash baseball game or other event. Have fun!

What a gem! Everyone in our group (including a few with a more “critical” palette 🤣) were blown away by the food. Everything, from the service to the wine pairing, entrees and desserts were all fabulous. My only disappointment is that I don’t live close enough by to frequent this place!Excellent Italian food. Cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Amazing service. Thoughtful wine pairing. 👏🏻👏🏻

Je n’exclurais pas un retour ici même s’il ne figurerait pas en tête de ma liste.(Avis d'origine)(3.5 stars)Classier and pricier than a neighborhood red sauce joint but more modestly priced than Cibo, Quanto Basta is a solid option that unfortunately falls into the "looks better than it is" category. The downtown location is convenient, and the restaurant offers an attractive, intimate space. However, the acoustics and table placement are such that it can get loud when it's near capacity. As Quanto Basta doesn't do reservations, your best bet is to arrive early. The menu here is short but well-rounded. It features salads, antipasti/appetizers, pasta dishes, entrees, and pizzas. Your classics (caprese, spaghetti and meatballs, eggplant parm, etc.) are accounted for, but you can also opt for the less expected such as parmesan and pork belly crab dip or short ribs with gnocchi, charred carrots, and tomato jam. The wine and drink offerings are similarly versatile. Our group of four went with caprese and focaccia al forno starters and then shared stuffed peppers parmesan, eggplant parmesan, sausage & clams, and baked ziti with meatballs, followed by a tiramisu trifle for dessert. We didn't have long to wait for the food - service here is attentive and efficient - and the caprese was beautifully plated. However, it could have benefitted from salt. Flavors in general were understated even in dishes that were otherwise well-composed and satisfying. The sausage & clams came with a delicious hunk of herby focaccia, which QB would do well to offer as a side. Tiramisu in trifle form (layered inside a mason jar) is a concept whose novelty exceeds its practicality. It tasted great (if you like mocha), but by the time we got to the bottom, everything was soggy.Quanto Basta's menu and décor are winners, but the food itself was a mixed bag. I wouldn't rule out a return here though it wouldn't be at the top of my list.

I honestly think this place is just about ‘class’ and not about good food. I’ve taste fettuccini Alfredo at so many places and this place’s was pretty dry and clumpy. The Parmesan chicken tasted like tomato paste was slapped on it. Nothing even okay enough to eat. We honestly left hungry and disappointed. Maybe I’ve tasted way too much good food but this doesn’t come close to good. I expected way better from a place that looks nice and is a little pricey.

Also great service. The food here is about 4 stars and service 5. Everything was great, sauces were done nicely and meatballs were spot on. The price was right and between service and price, we will be bringing the family back for a meal sometime.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in Winston Salem - no, make that the Triad. Italian is our favorite cuisine and you cannot go wrong here. Last night was our third visit and my husband ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese. I usually do too but tried the Chicken Picatta and wow, never had it served as Quanto Basta does - exceptional! Jason was our server and what a customer oriented, professional gentleman. The hostess was delightful and friendly. You can tell from the moment you step in the door they genuinely want you to enjoy your visit and meal. Be sure and try the olive cake for dessert!

Tous les plats étaient très bien préparés et la présentation était excellente.(Avis d'origine)Very friendly and nice place to have Italian dinner. Wow...first the service...wendy was GREAT! We followed some of her food suggestions and had wonderful wine and drinks with friends. Highly recommend the braised short ribs and gnocchi.Being from out of town, it was great to have a place that is so welcoming.

A local recommended this place to us. The atmosphere is great, it feels upscale but not with the upscale prices. My dish was just ok, I got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It didn't have a lot of flavor and the chicken had several bones. Other dishes in my party were the eggplant Parmesan, rates 4(1-5 scale) sausage and clams were also a 4. The veal dish was good but the serving size was very small(common for veal dishes but this seemed very small).

Boyfriend and I don't come here often due to weird schedules and limited parking, but everytime we've come here it's been absolutely fantastic. Classy, laid back atmosphere, great and knowledgeable wait staff, and fantastic food.

We had a seating issue which was handled quite poorly even after we had made reservations 5 days prior to our visit. Our actual server was superb, and I would certainly rate her service 5 stars. Food was bland, as a whole. Presentation was good, I just wish I could say things tasted as good as they looked. Cocktails seemed to be quite light on the pour. No real danger of overdoing it here... unless overdoing your wallet counts. We had hoped for an overwhelming experience, but are left underwhelmed with all but our server. Hopefully she will go to work elsewhere so that we will have the opportunity to support her again...as we have little other reason to return.

Locally owned and operated makes a tremendous difference for dining out! From the time we walked in to the time we left the experience was top rate! The service was friendly, timely, and efficient! The small plates were perfectly portioned, delicious flavors paired with specials on Thursdays. Crispy and fresh salad, then saltimbocca for main dish. The cappuccino was fabulous and creamy along with the light mini olive cake. Bistro atmosphere like in Europe.

Nous reviendrons!(Avis d'origine)We have wanted to eat here forever, and just happened upon Thursday night, half price bottle night! Loved the ambiance of the side patio, gorgeous beams and high ceilings. Excellent service and the food was delicious. Our server had knowledge of gluten free options, and so I got the Roasted Chicken and Gorgonzola salad. Husband got duck and Dad got the special, seafood lasagna. I wish there had been gluten free pasta, but my meal and wine was so good, it didn’t matter. We all splurged on dessert, tiramisu in pint mason jar, chocolate mousse and I got some divine vanilla gelato with crunchy mint. Really special place and very reasonably priced. We’ll be back!
