Amazing, amazing, amazing!Beautifully presented crepe and French pastries at Awa French Crêperie & Café. For a sweet crepe, I recommend their Paris Moulin Rouge. Absolutely fantastic cold brew as well.The vibe is great and I particularly liked the massive artwork on the wall portraying the city of Paris.The gentlemen including Wally were also super friendly and prompt with their services which is always a plus.Last but not least, I liked the little touch at the entrance of the Awa French Market corner where you could get an assortment of French products like chips, jam, other snacks etc.

Everything was perfect, the crepe (savoury and sweet) was delicious and not overly heavy. Also the owner was very kind enough to give me cash back later as I didn't know I paid extra. Would definitely come back :)

I came here twice during my visit to Melbourne. Crepes were lovely and all the French staff were very nice and friendly. Highly recommend for good crepes!

A lovely, quaint crêperie! The crêpes are super tasty and authentic, I tried la complète and it was delicious - I especially loved the addition of the cornichons. The coffee was also very nice and the service was super welcoming and friendly!

Sweet spot. Kind and French vibes without the arrogance.Great value for money. We were positively surprised by the advertised $9.90 Coffee + Crepe combo offer, which is an impressive offering in August 2023. However, we didn't try it and went for a-la-carte premium choices.We went there as a group of 3. Despite fitting on a small table outside, the staff kindly suggested bringing along an extra table to make us more comfortable. There was only one remaining free table outside. We declined as we wanted to avoid incurring a cost of opportunity for the small business (and indeed, a customer took it later on). Still, it speaks volumes about the sense of hospitality this venue has to offer.We will definitely go back!

Friendly staff, and cozy environment. This is the perfect place to read a book or even go on a first date. It’s authentic French really without the meanness. The crepes are really good, the whipped butter really ties it all together. I ordered oh Champs Elysees and it was phenomenal.

Great experience, They know a lot about coffee , they even roast their own beans. Food is also very good including some home made sandwiches and crepes. They have some more cosy space inside and available tap sparkling water. Definitely recommend it.

I hadn’t heard of this lovely little cafe prior to today but am so glad I found it! The staff were lovely, the atmosphere was friendly and the coffee and crepe were delicious, with good vibe, that crepe again was outstanding!

I recently visited Awa French Crêperie and had a delightful experience. The coffee was exceptionally delicious, and the salmon crepes were not only very good but also uniquely crafted. I was impressed to learn that they roast their own coffee beans, adding an extra layer of uniqueness to the overall experience. The French cafe ambiance adds to the charm, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphère. Highly recommend for a taste of France cafe in the middle of Fitzroy.

Their Iced Matcha is the best in Melbourne. You wouldn’t regret visiting this cafe. Such an amazing European vibe.Friendly staff is the most important thing that makes me comeback all the time.Highly recommended 😀🥰

Discovered this cozy and warm spot! Everytime one feels so welcomed in the cafe. The salmon crepe and salmon bagel are my favorites. The coffee IS AMAZING TOO! Highly recommend 💗

Was introduced to Awa French cafe by a friend n it has become quite quickly my local all time favourite.The croissants are simply melt in the mouth good!Halloumi wraps are my favourite n they never disappoint, n my children are always after an Almond croissant.The Coffee is just on point n hits the spot every time.Staff are absolutely lovely n their welcoming nature make it a place that you will always want to come back to.The line up some mornings for coffee n breakfast, speak volumes themselves for the quality n service here at Awa.Definitely recommend, you wouldn’t be disappointed.
