Even when I’m in a rush, it’s still important to me to look put-together and polished.
This makeup look is exactly what I do when I’m short on time and only have 10 to 15 minutes to get ready.
I’m going to take you step-by-step through my everyday makeup tutorial and I hope you love it as much as I do.

Everyday makeup tutorial
1. Foundation
When I’m doing a no-makeup look, I like to put emphasis on my skin. I want it to look natural and fresh and not at all heavy.
I put a pea-sized amount of a lightweight foundation or skin tint on the back of my hand and press it into my skin with a foundation brush like this one.

2. Contour
I apply a cream contour stick in the hollows of my cheeks and on my forehead and jawline.
I also like to put a little on my eyes to give them some definition and lift, as I don’t use any eyeshadow or liner with this look.

I blend it all really well with a shaped contour brush.
I find applying contour makes a big difference in the way my bone structure looks and really flatters my face as well as adding some warmth.

3. Concealer
The key to a natural looking skin is going in lightly with your skin tint and then adding concealer where necessary.
I apply a lightweight, silky concealer mainly under my eyes. I also add a little between my eyebrows for a lift and over any discolorations especially around my nose and mouth.

Everyday makeup tutorial
I use a concealer brush to blend it well into my skin. With concealer, less is always more.

4. Blush
Applying blush is my favorite part of this makeup.
I use a cream blush on the apples of my cheeks and a tiny amount on the bridge of my nose. I dab it on straight from the stick and then tap it gently into the skin with a brush.

5. Setting powder
Now all my cream products are applied, I’m going to powder it down with a slightly pink tinted setting powder.
I use a powder puff to press it under my eyes, to set my concealer.

Everyday makeup tutorial
For the rest of my face I use a face detailer brush and apply it mainly around my mouth and a little on my forehead.
I don’t want my face to look really matte for this no-makeup makeup because our skin naturally has a satin finish and I want to keep that.

6. Eyes
When I’m in a rush, the only eye product I use is a really good mascara.
The contour stick has already added a little depth to my lids, so all I really need to do is apply a light layer of volumizing mascara to my top and bottom lashes.

7. Lips
I like to line my lips with a natural pencil liner to make them look naturally fuller.

Everyday makeup tutorial
I’ve been using this sheer lip balm for a while now and I really love the way I can apply a light layer or build up the color for a more formal look.

Everyday makeup tutorial
If you want your lips to look a little more nude, add a tiny dab of concealer in the center of both lips and tap it in with your finger.

Everyday makeup tutorial
With a very understated makeup like this, I really want my lips to look plump and juicy and glass-like, almost wet. I use a water gloss from my own range and apply it over my entire lip area.

8. Finishing touches
The right finishing touches make a really big difference to an everyday makeup look.
I always like to apply a light layer of powder blush on top of a cream blush to increase the longevity a little.
I pick it up on a small blusher brush and tap it very lightly on the apple of my cheek and on the bridge of my nose.

Then I take a large, clean powder brush and brush it over my entire face to make sure the blush is blended in well and give an air-brushed look to my makeup.

This last step makes a huge difference to the finished effect.
I press a small amount of highlighter on the highest point of my cheekbones and tap it in lightly to catch the light. The one I use isn’t shimmery or glittery but it gives a radiant lift to my face.

Even though this look is really minimal, I actually feel my most beautiful self when wearing it.
It’s very light, very easy to do and I think it's extremely flattering. It’s my go-to everyday makeup.
I’d love to know what you think of it. Please drop me a comment below.
